Terms of Use

The rules for using MagniGenie websites, plugins, accounts, licences, support and development services.

Effective and last updated: 28 July 2026

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you and the MagniGenie entity identified on your invoice or service proposal. By using the site, creating an account, purchasing a product or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Agreement and website access

You may use the MagniGenie website and public documentation for lawful personal or business purposes. Information on the site may change as products, compatibility, prices and services evolve. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the site or purchase our products or services.

Additional terms shown at checkout, in a product licence, proposal, statement of work or service agreement also apply. If they conflict with these website terms, the more specific written terms control for that purchase or project.

2. Accounts, orders and payments

  • You are responsible for accurate account and billing information and for keeping sign-in credentials secure.
  • Prices, taxes, billing periods and renewal terms are shown before payment. An order is accepted when payment is confirmed and the product or service is made available.
  • Digital products, downloads, licence keys and account access must not be shared outside the licence purchased.
  • We may decline or cancel an order affected by fraud, abuse, a pricing error or an unavailable product. Any captured payment for a cancelled order will be handled through the original payment method.

3. Software licences and intellectual property

MagniGenie and its licensors retain ownership of the website, branding, documentation, source materials and commercial software. Purchasing a plugin grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use it within the site or activation limit shown for the selected licence.

Unless a product licence expressly allows it, you may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, publish or make a paid MagniGenie product available to third parties. WordPress components distributed under an open-source licence remain subject to that licence; trademarks, hosted services, account access, updates, support and separately licensed materials are not granted beyond the purchased terms.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the site, accounts, APIs, downloads or support systems. Prohibited activity includes attempting unauthorized access, bypassing licence limits, introducing malicious code, disrupting service, scraping at harmful volume, using the service for unlawful activity, impersonating others or submitting abusive or infringing material.

You are responsible for your own website, content, backups, hosting environment, security and compliance. Test updates and custom work in an appropriate staging environment before production use.

5. Updates, support and refunds

Eligibility for updates and support depends on the product and licence shown at purchase. Support covers the MagniGenie product under the current Support Policy; custom development and third-party systems require a separate agreement.

Refund requests are handled under the Refund Policy. Renewal, cancellation and service terms shown on an invoice or proposal continue to apply.

6. Third-party services, disclaimers and liability

WordPress, WooCommerce, hosting companies, payment providers and other integrations are operated by third parties. We are not responsible for their availability, changes, security or terms.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website, plugins and documentation are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every third-party configuration or that every issue can be resolved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MagniGenie is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, business interruption or reputational harm. Our aggregate liability relating to a product or service will not exceed the amount you paid MagniGenie for that product or service during the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

7. Suspension, termination and changes

We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, security risk, non-payment, serious misuse or a material breach. Provisions concerning ownership, payment, disclaimers, liability and dispute resolution survive termination where applicable.

We may update these terms as the site, law or services change. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes apply prospectively unless law requires otherwise.
