Add a custom message on the login screen

December 19, 2013

Have you ever wanted to display a custom message on login page of  your wordpress website? You can easily do this by just adding the following code to functions.php of your active theme.

function magni_login_message() {
$message = '</pre>
<p class="message">Welcome to MagniGenie. Enjoy WordPress</p>';
return $message;
add_filter('login_message', 'magni_login_message');

  1. Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your
    articles? I mean, what you say is valuable and all. Nevertheless think of
    if you added some great images or video clips to give your posts more, "pop"!

    Your content is excellent but with pics and videos,
    this blog could certainly be one of the most beneficial in its field.
    Superb blog!

    1. Hi,

  2. My coder is trying to convince me to move to
    .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs.
    But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress on various websites for about a year
    and am nervous about switching to another platform. I have heard excellent things about
    Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it?
    Any kind of help would be really appreciated!

    1. Hi There,

      Its definitely not required to have a .net server unless you have specific needs which a .net serve can only solve. There are lots of free and open source options are present in market then why to go with paid one if you really have some strong reason. You can mail me if you need to know more.

    of the remarks here Add a custom message on the login screen - MagniGenie.
    I actually do have a few questions for you if it's allright.
    Is it just me or does it look like like some of the comments appear as if they are coming from brain dead folks?
    😛 And, if you are writing on other places, I'd like
    to keep up with you. Would you post a list of the complete urls
    of your social networking sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed,
    or linkedin profile?

    1. Hi,
